The 2006 JP 15 established limitations of heavy metals and arsenic for 40 varieties of crude drugs. Supplement I to JP15 (2007) added 65 more crude drugs to this list4), and uniform standards for heavy metals (30ppm) and arsenic (3ppm) for eight
