The purpose of this study was conducted to evaluate the effect of dietary protein and energy on growth performance of White Roman geese from 5 to 8 weeks of age (WOA). A 2 x 3 factorial arrangement was used in this study. The result showed that the geese fed with the 13 or 15 % crude protein (CP) diets were no significantly response on feed intake and body weight (BW) gain. Decreasing dietary energy was significantly (P<0.01) improve the feed intake and BW gain of the geese, the feed conversion ratio (FCR) was improved with increase dietary energy. Depending on this study, the 38.2 g/day protein intake was sufficient for BW gain of White Roman geese from 5 to 8 WOA. However the feed intake of growing geese was increased by decreasing dietary energy. And the growing geese from 5 to 8 WOA had large capacity to meet the energy requirement.
