LAND USE CONDITIONS IN TAIWAN - 農業知識入口網

Land is the only asset that is capable of continuously producing foodstuffs and raw materials for Taiwan’s teeming millions and growing industries. But this renewable resource of land will rapidly diminish unless its utilization is properly planned and carefully managed so that the capabilities and limitations of land are fully recognized and its conservation needs timely met. An intelligent and progressive program for wise land user would not be possible without first making a thorough appraisal of the physical condition of the land and the major factors that influence its productivity.
