The present pamphlet is designed to report on the experImentation (1955/6), demonstration (1956/7) and the details of an Island-wide field rat eradication campaign (1957/8) in Taiwan. It may serve as an illustration as to how could a technical program be actually carried down to 817,540 small farms to produce collectively a significant result when carefully planned and measures for the implementation of the program thoroughly coordinated.
