水稻抗白葉枯病品系之研發
The main objective of this study was to develop the new rice lines with resistance to bacterial blight, and provides them rice farmers to grow and reduce losses of production. The isogenic lines with resistant genes of bacterial blight, Xa4, xa5, Xa7, and Xa21 with IR24 backgroung from the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) was introduced and evaluated in the first season crop and the second season crop in 2010. The results showed that xa5, Xa7, and Xa21 was effective genes for the dynamics of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae of Taiwan. These three genes were recommended as the resistant genetic resources for bacterial blight disease breeding into the susceptible variety, Tainan No. 11 or Tai Keng 9 in Taiwan by backcross breeding. Six resistant lines were selected from the backcross population by molecular markers selection.
